Education is big earning sector in Australia. Other countries are not far-behind when it comes to matching the cost of education. Governments spend good amount of money on unnecessary expenditure. The same governments can subsidize the education system and pledge more funds. In such environments, still there are countries where higher education is almost free. Any student can study the higher level courses just by paying the minimal cost. The rising salaries of professors and educators are among the other factors which contribute to the higher cost of education. The research facilities and the quality of education require funds to invest in the framework. And a university has to survive and make money as well.
